93 years of age, died peacefully in her sleep on October 29, 2018.
Born in September 1925, she was raised and lived on School Street in Belmont Hills for 85 years of her life. Jean treasured and enjoyed spending her time with her beloved family and many friends.
She was a great story teller, sharing ancestral tales and stories of days past.
Jean was also an avid reader, TV watcher and always ready to travel when she had the opportunity.
Her favorite parting remark to everyone was "just be happy".
Predeceased by her parents, Rose (Tinneny) and Joseph Yeakel; brothers, Joseph, Jr., John, and James Yeakel; sisters, Alberta Yeakel and Mary (Yeakel) Myers; and nieces, Marlynn J. and Donna Jean Myers.
Jean is survived by her niece Rosemary (Myers) Silva, great nephews, Richard P. (Kelly) and Kevin M. (Jordan) Silva and her great niece, Jennifer K. (Silva) (James) Donohue.
She was also very fortunate to have spent lots of loving and fun time with her great, great niece and nephews, Holland, Henry, Mark, Harrison and Bennett Silva and Liam Donohue.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:30-11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Ave, Malvern, PA 19355 followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Int. Calvary Cemetery.
