Jean M. Valentino

Jean M. Valentino (nee Lafiata), age 85, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on January 15, 2024.

Born in West Chester, PA in 1938, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmina (nee DiLuigi) Lafiata. Jean grew up in the Johnsontown section of Downingtown and was a 1956 graduate of Downingtown High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Francis Valentino. Jean was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Church. Since her retirement, she always looked forward to her weekly QVC shopping trips and lunch.

Jean was the beloved wife of Francis Valentino; loving mother of Karen L. Valentino and Kevin F. Valentino (Jean); caring grandmother of Christopher L. Valentino (Jess), Ryan F. Valentino (Emma Katherine), Ian M. Valentino (Daylin), Kyle V. King, and Justin B. Valentino; adoring great-grandmother of Keira, Lawson, and John Thompson; predeceased by her brothers, John Lafiata and Rennie Lafiata, and her sister, Mary Mattioni.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:45-10:45 AM Monday, January 22, 2024 at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
