Jean Nihill

Jean C. Nihill (nee Mascione), age 87, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Yeadon, PA, passed away on March 12, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dante and Anna Mascione (nee Fersia).

Jean enjoyed playing tennis, the Jersey Shore, especially Wildwood Crest, and Naples, Florida.  She loved lunch with family and friends at Bonefish Grill, dinner at PECO (McCall Field), playing cards with her girlfriends, shopping at Ross, the Hallmark Channel and movies, pedicures, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   She was a funny, happy, energetic, caring and loving woman.

Jean is survived by her beloved husband, John “Jack” Nihill, her loving children John Nihill (Amy), Linda Savage (Tom), William “Bill” Nihill (Maureen) and Brian Nihill (Jen).  She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren Gwen, Kevin, Kerry, Patrick, Marrisa, Liam, Jason, Hannah, Sydney, Thomas, Bryan and her 4 great-grandchildren Summer Rose, Thomas, Lucas and Rowan Belle.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass Wednesday, March 17, 2021 10:30 AM at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
