Janice M. Hodges

Janice M. “Jan” Hodges passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 99. Born in Sayre, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Billie (nee Forbush) Bidwell.

Jan moved to Philadelphia where she graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Nursing. She later married Warren Hodges, had three wonderful children and settled in Wallingford, Pa.

Jan lived a full and active life, enjoying travel, time spent with cherished friends, and her love of tennis and golf.

Jan is survived by her son, Dean K. Hodges (Barbara); grandsons, Dean K. Hodges (Theresa) and Michael J. Hodges (Aimee); and great-grandchildren, Jake, Ryan, Jason, Leah, Kyle and Dylan. She was predeceased by her husband, Warren R. Hodges; children, Janice Paige Hodges, William W. Hodges (surv. Mary Alice Cauley); and siblings, Newell Bidwell, Georgia Steele and Ruth Calhoun.

Services and interment will be held privately.
