James J. "Jamie" Mannella

James J. "Jamie" Mannella, age 67, of Boothwyn, PA, passed away on July 5, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John Fiore and Olga Philomena Mannella (nee Frattaroli).

A man of many passions and interests, Jamie's life was a colorful tapestry woven with threads of joy and laughter. He had an infectious love for sports, particularly the Atlanta Braves, and could often be found cheering on his favorite team with unmatched enthusiasm. His appreciation for the simple pleasures in life was evident in his fondness for coffee and his frequent visits to the dollar store.

One of Jamie's most endearing qualities was his charisma and charm; he was known to be flirtatious in a way that brought smiles to those around him. A true food connoisseur, especially when it came to hors d'oeuvres, Jamie's palate appreciated the finer things in life. He found solace in the art of coloring, the melodies of Frank Sinatra's timeless music, and the nostalgia of old sitcoms on ME TV.

Jamie had a vibrant social life and enjoyed attending parties with his friends and family for lively celebrations. Family dinners held a special place in his heart, cherishing each moment spent together around the dining table.

Jamie was predeceased by his sisters Elizabeth Rose "Lisa" Mannella and Gina Marie Carla Gonzalez. He is survived by his devoted brother John Nicholas Mannella, who will carry forward his legacy with love and remembrance. Jamie will also be remembered by the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence where he received a lifetime of nonpareil care.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jamie’s Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Divine Providence Village Chapel, 686 Old Marple Rd., Springfield, PA 19064, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
