James "Jim" R. Dempsey

James “Jim” R. Dempsey, 79, of West Chester, PA passed away on May 23, 2022.

Born in St. Marys, PA in 1942, he was the son of the late Irvin and Celeste (née Fiscus) Dempsey.

Jim was the beloved husband of Janice A. (née Guido) Dempsey; loving father of Michelle L. Dempsey, Joseph M. Dempsey (Julie Pierce) and Amity M. Dempsey (Grant Glick); devoted grandfather of Simon, Nathan, Jordan, Bryan and Aaron Dempsey; dear brother of Raymond. Predeceased by siblings Irvin and Maxine.

Jim loved playing the guitar and harmonica. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Jim took great pride in being his wife’s caretaker in the recent past and taking her to shop for flowers and vegetables.
