James Joseph “Jimmy” Geary, Sr., age 69, of Havertown, PA, passed away on August 6, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Margaret M. “Peggy” Geary (née Conlan).

Jimmy loved spending his time camping, fishing, and practicing his craftsmanship. He was a member of Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669 for over 40 years, and a longtime member of the Men of Malvern Retreat Group. He served as Hull Maintenance Technician Class 3 on Aircraft Carrier USS Ranger CV61.

Jimmy was the loving husband to Deborah Geary (née Gallagher) and father of Joseph E., James J. Jr., Kiernan M., and Ryan M.; adoring grandfather of Charlotte, Isabelle, Bryson, and Kenzlee; caring brother of Margaret “Peggy” Murphy, Joseph Geary, Thomas Geary, Timothy “Fuzz” Geary, and Matthew Geary; as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to Jimmy's Viewing 9:00-10:15 AM on Monday, August 18, 2025, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19082. Interment Private.
