James N. Berger

James N. Berger, age 79, of Marple, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA,  passed away on July 13, 2022.

Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late James Leo and Rose Marie (née Borynack) Berger.

James was a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and Villanova University.  He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.  He was employed as a school principal in the education field. 

James was the beloved husband of 42 years of the late Helen C. (née Carney) Berger; the loving father of James E. Berger (Mandy) and Michael F. Berger (Carina); the proud grandfather of James, Ellie, and Raider Berger.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, 9:30 – 10:30 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory would be appreciated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 100 N. 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103,  www.lls.org.
