James M. Aiken

James M. Aiken (Jim), age 82, of West Chester, PA, and formerly of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on December 18, 2025.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1943, he was the son of the late James and Claire C. (nee Vandergrift) Aiken.

Jim was a 1961 graduate of Haverford High School and a 1975 graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He then pursued his CPA License and spent the majority of his career at Fibre-Metal Products, Concordville, PA as the Corporate Controller.

Jim also honorably served as a Fuel Truck Driver in the Marine Corps Reserves.

Jim was an avid tennis player and could be found on the tennis court year round. Jim also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Jim was the loving father of J. Scott Aiken (Tracy) and Laura J. Herzog (Steve); caring grandfather of Tara M. Herzog, Taylor E. Aiken, and Tyler A. Herzog, and step-grandfather of Cole J. Barber; dear brother of Wayne R. Aiken (Shirley) and Gary P. Aiken.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2026 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Philadelphia Memorial Park.
