Iris C. Gray

Iris (née Crombie) Gray, 88, passed away, suddenly, on October 18, 2023.

Iris is predeceased by her husband, William Gray; her parents, James & Kathleen (née Cairns) Crombie; and her sisters, Alice and Eileen.

Iris is survived by her sister, Henrietta McKenzie (John); and William’s son, Stephen Gray (Francine).

Iris was born June 27, 1935 in Glasgow, Scotland. She pioneered her way to the United States where she got a job working for the American Chemical Society in Washington, D.C. She later moved to West Chester to be with her husband, where she spent the remainder of her life. She enjoyed volunteering at Paoli Memorial Hospital and was an avid animal lover.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service 11:00 AM Friday, October, 27, 2023 at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
