Irene Ellen Williams

October 4,1944 – December 28, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Williams announces her peaceful passing at the age of 81.

She will be remembered and forever loved by her daughter Donna (fiancé Samuel) Pepe, son Mark (wife Angelina) Pepe, and three beloved grandchildren Noah, Ethan and Arabella. She will remain in the hearts of her extended family and friends.

Irene was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Ann Williams, and sister Cheryl Caravello.

Irene was born in Philadelphia PA and baptized at Our Lady of Angels. She grew up in Clifton Heights and graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School in 1962. After graduation she worked in the secretarial pool at PSFS in Philadelphia. Irene married in 1967 and became a homemaker, raising her two children.

After moving to Exton in 1984, Irene returned to work as an administrative assistant and even opened her own secretarial company, Administrative Support in West Chester. After retiring, she drove a school bus for Wolfington and spent time enjoying her grandchildren.

Her love of animals was well known through her cat and dog rescue efforts and service to Operation Scarlet which was a Shar-pei Rescue.

Her greatest joy in life were her children and grandchildren which she considered her greatest blessings. Irene’s strength and compassion came from her faith in Jesus and lifelong devotion to her Christian faith.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service 11:00 AM Friday, January 30, 2026 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 West Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382.
