Howard O. "Hal" Ferguson

Howard O. “Hal” Ferguson, age 82, of Swarthmore, PA, passed away on July 20, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Walter C. and Louise (nee Owen) Ferguson.

Hal was a big family man who loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed listening to country music and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Hal was a motorcycle enthusiast, especially Harley Davidson’s. He loved his animals, especially his dog Teddy. Hal will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Hal was the beloved husband of Ann (nee Gothie) Ferguson; loving father of Donna Charlier (Jim), Jeannine Ferguson, and Scott Ferguson (Debbie); adoring grandfather of Joseph Abate, Christine Abate, Jimmy Charlier, Stephen Heatherby (Patricia), Kevin Heatherby (Allison), Alyssa Ferguson, and Aaron Ferguson; caring great-grandfather of Meghan Heatherby, Jacob Heatherby, Kevin Heatherby Jr., and Harper Harrigan; devoted brother of Irene Muir and Lynn Crowthers.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 2545 Franklin Ave, Secane, PA 19018, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Int. Private.
