Hilda L. Senst

Hilda L. Senst (nee Strang), age 70, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on September 27, 2022.  Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Jean Strang (nee Mason). 

Hilda was born and raised in Scotland.   She met and married her husband, Richard of 48 years, in Scotland and emigrated to the United States to raise their family. 

Hilda loved being with her family.   She was Granny to everyone she met and would talk to anyone.  She was an animal lover, enjoyed flea markets and was an extremely generous person.  Her favorite place to visit was Culver Lake. 

Hilda is survived by her beloved husband, Richard P. Senst.  Loving mother of Jenny Baron, Emily Senst (Mike Severns), Alana Senst, Amber Senst, Jeannine Iuschewitz and the late Melanie A. Senst.  Dear grannny of Julia, Dominic,  Gabe, Abby, Rebecca, Michael, Esme, Oliver, Anthony, Addie, Gerry and Andrew.  Also survived by her brother Andrew Strang (Marianne), her sister Helen Gallagher (Alan) and her brother-in-law Bob Senst (Barb). 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, October 6, 2022 2:00-4:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300.   Following the visitation, there will be a gathering at the family residence.
