Henry Zeglen

Henry J. “Hank” Zeglen, age 90, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2022.

Born in Peckville, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley and Frances R. (Née Marek) Zeglen.

Henry served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army.  Before his retirement, he worked as a supervisor for Scott Paper Company.

Henry enjoyed tending to his lawn, was always there to offer a helping hand, enjoyed his sweets, and had a terrific sense of humor.

Henry was the beloved husband of Janis M. (née McCoy) Zeglen; the loving father of Diana Emlet (Patrick), Henry S. Zeglen (Annette), Karen R. Connus (Ray Naylor) and the late Daniel D. Zeglen (Mary Cadmus).  He is the proud grandfather of Geoffrey, Charlene, Leslie, Nick, Danielle, Michelle, Tim and Cassandra, and dear great-grandfather of seven. He is also predeceased by his brother, Edward S. Zeglen and his first wife, Eugenia “Jean” Zeglen.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Saturday, February 19, 2022, 9:00 – 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by his Funeral Mass, 10:00 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
