Helen Marie Switliski

Helen Marie Switliski, age 89, passed away on October 18, 2026. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (nee Bianchini) Howard. Helen was born and raised in Mt. Carmel, PA before moving to the Philadelphia area in the 1950s.

Helen is survived by her sons, Leonard A. Switliski (Mary) and Daniel D. Switliski (Christine); grandchildren, Mark, Greg, Matthew, Christian, Daniel, Rachael, Danielle, Phaedra, Vincent, Zachary, and Marina; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent S. Switliski; daughter, Elaine Swisher, and her siblings, Edward Howard, Dolores Howard, Joseph Howard, Jr., and Florence Porter.

Helen devoted her career to serving others, working many years as a Clerk for Delaware County District Court, part-time at St. Francis Country House, and as a receptionist in a doctor’s office. Outside of her professional life, Helen found great joy in baking and cooking, but her greatest happiness came from spending cherished time with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to Helen’s Viewing on Friday, October 30, 2026 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at St. Eugene Church, 200 S. Oak Ave, Primos, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Interment to take place at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
