Helen Noland

Helen C. Noland, of Harleysville, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the age of 88.

Born in Chicago in 1932, Helen grew up in Peru, IN. She married Don E. Noland in 1953.  They were the proud parents of four children and the family lived in many locations over the years: Peru, IN; Havre de Grace, MD; Detroit, MI; LaCrosse, WI; Carmel, IN; Bettendorf, IA; Malvern, PA; and Coatesville, PA.

In addition to her role as a wife and mother, Helen enjoyed playing Bridge, quilting, reading, and watching old movies and tv shows.

Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Don; her brother Paul Pecen (Carolyn) of Kokomo, IN; her in-laws Ed and Gladys Noland of Peru, IN; her brother-in-law Jon Noland (Dorothea) of Winchester, VA; and her parents Paul and Helen Pecen of Peru, IN.

She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Whildin and husband Herb of Hilton Head, SC; her daughter Patricia Morrison and husband David of Harleysville, PA; her daughter Beth Lauderback and husband George of Schwenksville, PA and Folly Beach, SC; and her son Jeffrey Noland of Honey Brook, PA.  She is also survived by grandchildren Brian Lauderback of Boston, MA; Alex Lauderback (Elise) of Houston, TX; Samantha Noland, Mia Noland, Jacob Noland, all three of Honey Brook, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were made by The Donohue Funeral Home, Downingtown, PA.  A private family burial will be held on April 15, 2021, at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
