Helen T. (O'Brien) Hayden May 26, 1942- December 2, 2O21

Helen T. Hayden (nee O'Brien), age 79, of Clearwater, FL and formerly of Bridgeport, PA passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Joseph G. Hayden, and daughter of the late Lawrence and the late Helen O'Brien (nee Magee).

Helen is survived by her sister Maureen Purcell, brother-in law Jim Hogan, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a great-grand niece. She was pre-deceased by her sister Eileen Costello (John), her sister Betty Hogan, and her companion dog, Cocoa.

Helen was a dedicated worker, and started at Sharps in Plymouth. She proudly retired from Middleton Tobacco Company in 2005 after thirty-seven years of active employment.

Helen was a devoted member of Light of Christ Catholic Church in Clearwater where she was an usher and had many wonderful friends, who where her "Florida Family". She was an active member of the Ladies Knights of Columbus, Ancient Order of Hibernians Notre Dame #2 Montgomery County, when she lived in PA and transitioned to the local Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians organization in Florida where she befriended many celebrating her lrish heritage. Helen was also a member of Middleton's Twenty-Year Club for her long-time service. Helen easily made friends wherever she went, and she was always up for an adventure.

Helen enjoyed being with her family and good friends, doing jigsaw puzzles, seek and finds, going out to eat, spending time at the shore and being with those she loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Family Monday, December 13, 2021 9:45-10:15 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Bridgeport, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
