Helen K. Geisel (nee Greene), age 85, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on November 5, 2025. Born in Boone, NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. Greene and Della Mae Cantrell (nee Miller).
Helen was a dental office manager in VA when she met the love of her life, Jay, and moved north to support his business and continue her career managing multiple dental offices in Springfield and on the Main Line. In retirement, she shifted her focus to help him run Geisel Associates, a tool and die company, for the last 20 years. She found great joy in keeping her mind sharp with her daily regimen of computer puzzles. She loved Ocean City, NJ, where she spent countless hours on the beach or at the boardwalk spoiling her grandkids. She cherished many memories sharing special times with her husband, daughters and their families at the Tuckahoe Inn, which always held a special place in her heart.
A devoted caregiver to her late husband throughout the years, Helen's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication and love. Those who were fortunate enough to know her felt the profound impact of her unconditional support and boundless generosity. She had a remarkable ability to form connections, ensuring that anyone who crossed her path knew her warmth and kindness.
Yet, perhaps her most profound joy came from her grandchildren, whose laughter and accomplishments filled her heart with pride. As a grandmother, she poured endless affection and wisdom into their lives, nurturing their spirits with the same tenderness she shared with all who knew her.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Jonathan J Geisel; loving mother of Cynthia K. Mawhinney (Michael) and Elizabeth Johanna Folgia (Michael); adoring grandmother of Michael Mawhinney Jr., Matthew Mawhinney, Patrick Mawhinney, Sofia Folgia, and Michael Attilio Folgia; caring sister of Barbara Greene, Gary Greene, Sharon Davie, Dianna Hutsell, Ronald Lookabill, Donald Lookabill, and the late Elizabeth Trivett and Thomas Greene. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well.
