Helen "Sue" Connelly

Helen “Sue” Connelly (nee Donlon), age 74, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on June 21, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the devoted daughter of Frank H. and Helen Donlon (nee McDermott).

Sue was a teacher for 32 years and was a great influence for the children she taught. She was blessed to be able to teach the last 22 years at St. Laurence School in Upper Darby. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Sue enjoyed exploring in nature, especially lakes and rivers.

Sue was the beloved wife of Thomas Connelly and loving mother of John Connelly. Sue was predeceased by her sister, Frances Cannon, ESQ.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Interment Private.
