Helen I. Borkowski

Helen I. Borkowski passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at the age of 92.

Born in 1933 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Anthony L. D’Elia Sr. and Helena (nee Wahl).

Helen graduated from John Bartram High School in 1951 and began her employment as a Comptometer operator.

Helen loved trips to Las Vegas and playing the slots at any casino. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors, taking walks, puzzles, flowers, and shared the companionship of many dogs throughout her life.

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Fred A. Borkowski and her late first husband Louis F. Parenti; loving mother of Helen Sivieri (Leandro); proud grandmother of Danielle Platt (Shaun) and Deanna Smithers (Michael); and caring great-grandmother to Delaney, Nathan, and Nora. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Louis F. Parenti, Jr. and her siblings: Anthony D’Elia, Jr. (Rosemarie) and Dolores Sage (Vincent).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Wednesday June 4, 2025 at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
