Heather L. Cottier

A bright and shining light to many, Heather Lyn Cottier, 54, left this world surrounded by her loved ones on March 25.

Heather made all who knew her feel special, bringing happiness and laughter, even in the face of life's greatest challenges, of which she faced many.  Heather loved her home, which she shared with her mother, who filled it with Heather's favorite things, perhaps most importantly her pets, especially her devoted pup, Patches.  Time spent with Heather was always special -- it was never about her, but instead shining her light on others, a reflection of her inner beauty and soul. Despite so many difficult years and constant challenges, Heather's resilience, joy, and kindness was steadfast, having a profound impact on family, friends, and even strangers. She was a uniquely special angel who touched so many lives.

Heather would want all who knew her to take the time to smell the flowers, notice the birds, and tell your loved ones how much you care. She would remind us to cherish the goodness and beauty of this precious and fleeting life.   

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:00 AM on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
