Harry J. Tyldsley

Harry J. Tyldsley, age 68, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on December 10, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Catherine Tyldsley (nee Lamont).

Harry was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He did two tours in Vietnam, received two Purple Hearts, and a Bronze Star which were great accomplishments of his. Harry taught marksmanship at Arrowhead Day Camp and was a para-educator at Radnor Township School District. He loved working with children, cooking, and Philly sports.

Harry was the beloved husband of Mary Tyldsley (nee Powell) for 42 wonderful years; loving father of Harry “Bill” Tyldsley (Jestine); caring grandfather of Cameron. Also survived by Nancy Connelly and Judy Scott (Bob), Matthew Connelly (Stephanie), and Sarah Vargas (Tony).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at St. Laurence Lower Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
