Barbara Ann Greer

Barbara Greer, age 76, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2026. Born in Philadelphia and later raised in Springfield, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late George and Helen Zak. Barbara was a proud Cardinal O’Hara graduate from the class of 1968 and spent many years serving others while working at Lankenau Hospital.

Barbara was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and loving nature. With a great eye and passion for interior design, she loved to decorate her home for the holidays. She found great joy in gardening, spending time at the beach, and being with her family. She was a devoted and adoring wife, mother, and grandmother who had an unparalleled knack for making all occasions feel extra special for those she loved. She brought light and warmth to all that knew her.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John Greer (Tim); her children, Ryan Greer (Kim) and Brett Greer (Kristyna); her grandchildren, Gabriella, Emerson, Patrick, Liam, Olivia, and Scotland; and her sisters, Helen Pellak, Pat Pellak, and Marge Howlett.

Family and friends are invited to Barbara’s viewing on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 from 10-11 a.m. at St. John Chrysostom Parish; 617 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086 followed by her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery; 1600 S. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Barbara’s memory.
