Gloria A. Hoesch

Gloria A. Hoesch, 97, of Folsom, PA, passed away peacefully April 15th, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Mary (nee Rafferty) Evans. Gloria was born in Gilberton, PA and a graduate of Darby High School class of 1946. She raised her family in Folsom, PA, where she has resided for the last 67 years.

She spent summers in Wildwood with her family, and later in life with her sisters, Irene and Joan. You could often find Gloria out shopping with her coupons or Kohl’s cash, at her favorite breakfast spot, winning ‘big’ at the casino, scrolling Facebook, and enjoying the sun on her deck with her adoring Labradoodle, Oliver.

Gloria was predeceased by her loving husband, John “Jack” Hoesch and her 12 siblings.

Gloria is survived by her large family, all of whom lived within a 6-mile radius of her. Her 5 children, Patti Lodise (Pete), Pam Gilcken, Jack Hoesch (Lynn), Beverly Benedek (John), and David Hoesch; 8 grandchildren, Melissa O’Doherty (Kevin), Peter Lodise (Camille), Jonathan Gilcken (Shannon), Ashley Juliff (Kevin), Stephanie Knox (James); John Benedek (Jackie), Chelsey Simonds (Devin) and Matthew Hoesch; 12 great-grandchildren, Declan, Maeve, Arielle, Genevieve, KJ, Carter, Colton, Colin, Liam, Graham, Harlee and Avery, and many dear nieces and nephews.

Gloria never missed a beat and will always be remembered for her quick wit, outspokenness, gracious smile, larger-than-life personality, and love for her family. Her joyful spirit was evident to all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Gloria's visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Our Lady of Peace Church, 208 Milmont Park, Folsom, PA 19033 followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
