Giacomo "Jack" John DeCola, Sr., 75, of Downingtown , PA passed away on October 23, 2018.
Born in 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, Jack was the son of the late Peter and Jane Rose (Grosso) DeCola.
Jack was a graduate of West Catholic High School and worked in Advertising and Direct Marketing.
He enjoyed trips to the casinos, he loved our beach house in Sea Isle, always had a joke for his friends and family, he loved to make sandwiches whether you were at the beach or our house - everyone couldn't wait to have one of Pop's sandwiches. He loved to plant flowers and loved his vegetable garden and above all spending time with his family.
Jack was the loving husband for 56 years of Diane (Chicherico) DeCola; beloved father of Lisa Zimmerman (Paul),Lou DeCola, Sr. (Shanna), Giacomo "Jack" De Cola Jr, And Steven DeCola; devoted grandfather of Nicole(Stephen),Paul Jr., Karlie, Nick, Lou Jr., Bella, Giacomo III, Domenic and Ava; adoring great-grandfather of Austin and Aaron; and dear brother of Theresa McElroy. Predeceased by grandson, Danny Wepryk.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 5:00-9:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA, 610-431-9000 and 9:30-10:50 AM Saturday at SS Philip & James Church, 107 N. Ship Road, Exton, PA 19341 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
Flowers are welcome along with memorial contributions in Giacomo's memory to The Abramson Cancer Center at Chester County Hospital, 701 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
