Gerald H. "Gerry" Hazzard

Gerald H. "Gerry" Hazzard, age 96, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Springfield, PA, passed away on November 15, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1928, he was the son of the late John David and Ruth Elizabeth (nee Stoeckel) Hazzard. Gerald was a Boy Scout in Troop 49 in Philadelphia. He served honorably in the US Marine Corps.

Gerald was the beloved husband of the late Elsie (nee DiOrio) Hazzard; loving father of Lynn Hazzard Hudson, Lee Hazzard Schardong, Gerald Hazzard, Jr., Jeffery Hazzard, Barbara Hazzard Trautmann, and John Hazzard; caring grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Marilyn Hazzard Smith and the late John Lawrence Hazzard.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:30 AM Friday, November 21, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000. Interment private.
