George Pattinson

George Pattinson, 73, of West Chester and formerly of Sharon Hill, passed away on February 9, 2026, after a three-month battle with lung cancer.

George was dearly loved by his brother, Richard; his sisters, Linda Hunter and Ginny Pierucci; his brother-in-law, Bill Hunter; as well as his nieces and nephews and his grandnieces and grandnephews.

George was known for his kindness, friendliness, and wonderful sense of humor. He had that special quality that made everyone he met instantly like him.

He loved music—especially classic rock from the 1960s and 1970s, preferably played at higher volumes! He was the go-to expert when it came to knowing who wrote which song and who played in which band. He also enjoyed classic television shows and movies from that same era.

His life reflected the lyrics from one of his favorite bands:

"And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."

Please join us in celebrating his life on March 7, 2026, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities at thearcpa.org.
