George J. Franciotti

George John Franciotti, 79, passed Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. 

George was born June 6th, 1943 in West Chester, PA. Where he lived his entire life. He was the son of Emilia & Leonide Franciotti. 

He married the love of his life, Karen on May 15th, 1981 in West Chester, PA. 

George graduated Henderson High school in 1961. After graduating high school he worked for the family business where he found his passion for driving trucks. In 1979, George started “Franciotti Trucking Company”, with his wife which they built from the ground up with only one Kenworth truck.  Through hard work and dedication they soon had a fleet of trucks and a business that is still thriving to this day.

George had a passion for riding motorcycles and dirt-bikes. Although his motorcycles were his life, his family always came first. He loved his family more than anything in the world. His passion for motorcycles began with enduro racing which led to street bikes. And even through all the obstacles George had faced he continued to be an avid motorcycle rider, traveling across the country with his friends. As everyone knows George was very strong willed and  never let anything slow him down. 

George is survived by his wife, Karen Franciotti; his children: Anne Marie, Brittany, Taylor, Michael, Debbie, and Deanna Franciotti; his grandchildren: Jace, Adelina, Adriana, Jimmy, Johnny and Deanna Franciotti; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Elijah; and his sisters: Delores DeLia and Antoinette Filiaggi.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 27, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
