George Daly

George S. Daly, age 85, of West Chester, PA, passed away on August 5, 2020. ‘

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the beloved son of George and Katherine Daly (nee Oppenheimer).

George married his sweetheart, Barbara Tanger when he was 17 and together they had 3 children: Barbara Wilson (the late Rick), Sharon McDonald and Stephen Daly.

Later in life, George married Diane DiStefano and helped raise her 2 children, Amy Coyle (Tym), and Matthew DiStefano (Colleen).

He was the loving grandfather of Corrine, Deidre, Katie and Max and step-grandfather to Zachery, Tyler, Abby, Izzy and Jack. He was also the great-grandfather of two.  George is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Daly (Donna) along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
