George Chabalko

George Chabalko, age 92, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on October 14, 2022. Born in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna Chabalko (nee Medvitz).

George was the beloved husband of the late Angeline “Dolly” Chabalko (nee Longo); loving father of Georgeanna Hannigan (Michael); caring grandfather of Stephanie Abbonizio (Matt) and Michael Hannigan, Jr.; adoring great-grandfather of Adriana and Nicholas Abbonizio; devoted brother of Irene Pronzato. Predeceased by his siblings, Margaret Welscko, Helen Kane, and John Chabalko and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
