Genevieve Blandy

Genevieve M. Blandy (nee Mannix), 99, of Strafford, PA, passed away on December 15, 2021.

Born in Harrisburg, PA in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Genevieve (nee Waream) Mannix.

Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. Blandy; loving mother of Edward Blandy (Judy), Bonnie Steele, Robert Blandy (Linda), Jack Blandy (Jane), and Glen Blandy (Doris). She is also survived by her sisters: Virginia I. Behrens and Sister Marie Genevieve Mannix, her grandchildren: Michelle Blandy, Lesley Blandy, Susan Meitzler (George), Kevin Steele (Tracy), Robert Blandy (Stephanie), Richard Blandy (Marlyn), Ryan Blandy (Michelle), Sara Blandy, Adam Blandy, Ellen Wadsworth (Thomas), Joseph Blandy (Kelly), Laura Mowery (Christopher), and Justin Blandy (Jamie) and her great-grandchildren: Lydia Joy Wenzler, Nola Blandy, Samuel Wenzler, Michael Meitzler, Addison Steele, Ainsley Steele, Grayson Steele, Kirstyn Blandy (Jonathan), Richard Blandy, Alexander Blandy, Nicholas Blandy, Aerith Blandy, Madeline Wadsworth, Jack J. Blandy, II, Owen Blandy, Charlotte Wadsworth, Luke Mowery, Jonathan Van Sloun, Jocelyn Blandy, Julian Blandy, and Jaclynn Blandy.

Interment will take place at 10 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003.
