Frank M. Navazio, Jr.

Frank M. Navazio, Jr., age 79, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Ridley Township. Frank was a 1964 graduate of Ridley High School, where he would meet and marry his high school sweetheart—the love of his life and lifelong companion.

Frank was drafted during the Vietnam War, serving his country with honor and bravery. After returning home, he built a life centered on family, integrity, and connection. Frank was a proud member of Plumbers Union 690 and worked as a journeyman plumber for 43 years. A devoted family man, Frank raised his two sons in Delaware County, creating a warm and loving home filled with laughter, support, and countless memories. In time, he was joyfully welcomed as “Poppy” by his four grandchildren and, more recently, as a proud great-grandfather to his first great-grandson.

Known for his kindness and gentle spirit, Frank was truly a people-person—friendly, engaging, and always eager to strike up a conversation, whether with old friends or complete strangers. His warm presence left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

After moving to West Chester, Frank became an active and beloved member of his community. Always willing to lend a hand, he enjoyed volunteering at events, especially flipping burgers at the clubhouse BBQs. His neighbors affectionately dubbed him the "unofficial mayor of The Arbours"—a title he wore with pride and humility.

Frank’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be missed enormously by his devoted wife, his children, grandchildren, great-grandson, and the many friends and neighbors whose lives he touched.

His legacy of love, laughter, and community will live on in the memories and stories shared by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Frank is survived by his wife, Dawn Navazio (née Meyers); children, Frank M. Navazio, III (Christine) and Christian J. Navazio (Lesley); siblings, Dolores Masci (the late Carmen), Tina Monte, the late Angela Achenbach (the late Allen), and the late Robert Navazio (Veronica); grandchildren, Amanda Quail (Brandon), Frank M. Navazio, IV (Marcelle), Ty C. Navazio, and Cole C. Navazio; great-grandson, Francis M. Navazio, V; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Frank M., Sr. and Clara (nee Castagliuolo)
