Frank A. Mango

Frank A. Mango, age 92 of Media, Pa, formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023 after a brief illness. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Mango (nee Pernice).  Frank served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1952 and then received a B.A. in Industrial Arts from the State University of NY at Oswego and a M.F.A. from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Frank was an Industrial Arts teacher in Pelham, NY for 35 years. He was married to the late Elinor Mango (nee Piro) for 50 years and is survived by his children, Stephen J. Mango (Kenneth J. Rogers) and Andrea M. Bruderle (Stephen), grandsons Ryan and Patrick Bruderle, and his sister Linda Henselman (nee Mango).

Frank enjoyed 30 years of retirement, traveling the world with Elinor and spending time with family and friends. He left his beloved New York in 2013 and truly enjoyed the past 10 years at Riddle Village. Frank could be found talking to residents and employees alike, always smiling and sharing stories. He was a lifelong learner and teacher and pursued his love of woodworking by crafting exquisite artisan masterpieces that will live on forever in his memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Ave, Malvern, PA 19355 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
