Francisco Fernandez

Francisco J. “Frank” “Ito” Fernandez, age 89, of Havertown, PA, passed away on November 17, 2021.   Born in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, he was the son of the late Andres and Juana Fernandez (nee Luzarraga) Francisco received his Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University.

He had been employed as a Mechanical Engineer for Okeelanta Corporation in Florida and retired in 1999. Francisco is survived by his beloved wife, Isora S. “Daisy” Fernandez (nee Sacerio), his loving daughters Ana Parmet (Mike) and Rosa M. LoSardo (Joseph).  Also survived by his 8 grandchildren, Matthew Parmet-Romanko (Alice), Rebecca Patten (Dave), Francesca Raub (Alec), Joshua Parmet, Jeremy Parmet, Angelo LoSardo, Alex Parmet and Sofia LoSardo. 5 great-grandchildren Iyanna, Kira, Amaya, Nikolai and Rae, with one great grandchild on the way.   Brother of Maria Rodriguez and the late Raul Fernandez and Fermin Fernandez.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 9:00-10:45 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to his Funeral Mass following at 11:00 AM.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Havertown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
