Francis J. "Frank" Pilson, Jr.

Francis J. “Frank” Pilson, Jr., 78, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on November 23, 2022.

Born in Lower Merion, PA in 1944, Francis was the son of the late Francis J., Sr. and Ann Frances (nee McBrearty) Pilson. He served honorably in the US Air Force in Vietnam from 1965-1969. Francis enjoyed writing and traveling to the Poconos. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Francis was the beloved partner of Emma Dorrell; loving father of Frank J. Pilson, III (Nicole) and MaryAnne Pilson; caring grandfather of Chane, Mason, Nicholas, and Lily; dear brother of Mary Darlington (Chet); predeceased by his wife, Joan (nee O’Malley) Pilson.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
