Francis Gallagher Sr.

Francis J. Gallagher “Frank”, 90, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Penn Wynn, PA passed away on February 28, 2021.

Born in 1930, Frank was the son of the late Patrick J. and Kathryn (née Kennedy) Gallagher.

He was the beloved husband of the late Elise F. (née Gutekunst) Gallagher; loving father of Francis J. Gallagher Jr. (Jackie) and Robert F. Gallagher; dear grandfather of Ryan Gallagher, Morgan Gallagher, Lauren Gallagher and Robert Gallagher; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Joseph P. Gallagher, Mary T.  Shehan and Kathryn M. Henn.

Frank served honorably in the US Army. He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s College and a career Pennsylvania Railroad employee. Frank enjoyed singing in the choir at Presentation BVM Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, March 5, 2021 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
