Francis Thomas "Frank" Cassidy

Francis Thomas “Frank” Cassidy, age 87, of Ardmore, PA, passed away on March 24, 2024. Born in Galway Ireland, he was the son of the late Francis and Margaret Cassidy (nee McFadden). Throughout his life, Frank touched the hearts of many with his unwavering kindness and gentle spirit.

A proud Army Veteran, Frank held a deep love for America and all opportunities its democracy afforded him and his family. He will be remembered not only for his military service but also for his commitment to his community. Frank was a valued member of St. Pius X Church and St. Denis Church, where he found solace and strength in his faith.

In his leisure time, Frank found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed golfing, traveling to new places, taking walks, and most of all, spending quality time with friends and family.

Frank was the beloved husband of Margaret Cassidy (nee Butler); loving father of Kathy Cassidy, Donna Rossi, and Maureen Cassidy; adoring grandfather of Aidan, Bridget, Tulsi, Maggie, Kara, Annalee, Colin, Thomas, and Maria; caring brother of Peggy Flite, Ann Lally, Josephine Molly, and Patricia Lawless. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Frank was predeceased by his brother Mike Cassidy.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 10:00-10:50 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Ln, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
