Frances M. Dockray

Frances M. “Fran” Dockray, age 93, of Newtown Square, PA, a treasured community resident, sadly passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 93.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edwin S. and Mary E. (née Mullen) Livingston.

A long-time member of St. Anastasia's Seniors Club, Fran was known for her unwavering commitment to her friends and fellow members, and was a beacon of joy and camaraderie, touching the lives of many. She had a deep love for travel, which she shared with her late husband, Thomas. Together, they explored numerous destinations, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. One of their favorite escapes was to their timeshare in Treasure Island, Florida, as it was filled with moments of laughter and adventure.

Fran was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Dockray, Sr.; the loving mother of Thomas F. Dockray, Jr. (Marjorie) and Michael D. Dockray (Diep); the devoted grandmother of Thomas J. Dockray (Erica), Christopher Dockray (Ashley), and Bridgett M. Dockray, and caring great-grandmother of Charlotte R. Dockray, Logan F. Dockray, Wyatt J. Dockray, and Aurora B. Dockray. Fran is also survived by her brother, Donald J. Livingston, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held in Fran’s honor on Saturday, October 11, 2025, 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
