Florence H. Watson

Florence H. Watson (nee Hart), age 93, of West Chester, PA, passed away on December 25, 2025.

Born in Connellsville, PA in 1932, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Edith Gallagher Hart. Florence was a devoted member of the St. Peter’s Church in the Great Valley where she met many friends and came to think of them as her second family. Florence enjoyed gardening, cooking, and entertaining her family and friends.

Florence was the beloved wife of the late William Stuart Watson, Jr.; loving mother of William Stuart Watson, III (Lynn) and Edith Watson Flournoy (Phil); caring grandmother of Christina, Elizabeth, Mary, and Leslie; and great grandmother to Gabe, Jake, and Max.

Services will be held at St. Peter’s Church in the Great Valley, Malvern, PA on January 10, 2026 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Peter’s Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
