On December 4, 2025 we said goodbye to Erminio Savelloni Jr., 69, a soul whose love and light touched everyone they met.
Erminio marched to the beat of his own drum and lived life entirely on his own terms. His artwork reflected his deep creativity and rare eye for beauty. A true master of resin and woodworking, he poured his heart and soul into every piece he created. His stunning handmade bowls and river tables were more than craftsmanship they were expressions of how he charmed the world, one creation at a time.
His greatest love was his wife and soulmate, Barbara Ann Savelloni, with whom he shared 41 beautiful years of marriage. Barbara’s love and their three children was the center of his world and the foundation of everything he worked so hard to build. Every ounce of his dedication, strength, and tireless work ethic was rooted in his desire to provide for and cherish his true love.
Erminio was a passionate winemaker, devoted gardener, and famous for his families homemade jarred tomato sauce, which he lovingly shared with family and friends. A loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan and truly a friend to all, he had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Following in his father’s footsteps, Erminio built a long and dedicated career with the Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO), where he worked with pride and retired after 40 years of faithful service.
He was a dedicated member of the Cape May Par 3, where he could be found golfing daily, enjoying both the game and the friendships it brought him.
He is survived by his three beloved daughters, Jessica Tropea (Angelo), Melissa Higgins (Andrew), and Jenna Savelloni. He was the cherished Pop-Pop to his grandchildren, Mia, Nedra, Amelia, Jacob, Aishya, and Vincent, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, Angelo Savelloni (Rosemary); his sister-in-law, Christine Savelloni; and his loving nieces and nephews, Paul, Tara, Julie, and Nicholas.
He was welcomed into eternal peace by his beloved wife and soulmate, Barbara Ann Savelloni; his brother, John Savelloni; and his parents, Erminio and Anna Savelloni.
Family and friends may pay their respects at 12PM, Thursday, March 26th with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:30PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 W. Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000.
