Eric Carchidi

Eric Carchidi of South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania previously of Havertown, Pennsylvania, passed unexpectedly and was found in their home on Monday September 20, 2021. Predeceased by their mother Nancy, Aunt Diane, Grandfather Joe and Grandmother Jean. Eric is survived by their father, Michael and stepmother Karen; sisters Corey, Alyssa (Jim) and Charlotte and brothers Jason and Richard and step-father Richard. Eric is also survived by their grandmother, Rita and a slew of loving aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many wonderful friends and neighbors.

Eric was born on June 20, 1991, they attended Manoa Elementary School, Haverford Middle School and graduated from Haverford High School, class of 2009. Eric enjoyed school and prided themselves of their near perfect attendance and their accomplishments as first chair clarinet. Eric then went on to attend Drexel University and graduate with a bachelor's degree in physics. Eric currently, was working as a corrosive engineer at HMI technical solutions, LLC.

Eric was a loving, charismatic, boisterous individual who could always make you laugh. Eric was themself through and through, they were proud and creative and took great pride in their appearance. Eric had a passion for Magic the Gathering, out of the ordinary artwork, video games and spending time with friends, neighbors and family. Eric was the life of the party and made everyone's life they touched a little richer for having known them.

Relatives and friends can pay their respects starting at 10:00 AM with a service at 11:30 AM on Saturday September 25, 2021 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby.
