Elton H. “Vince” Vincent, 88, of Downingtown, PA, passed away February 10, 2026.

Born May 19, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Horace and Anne (nee Wimbrow) Vincent. He was recently preceded in death by his wife, Marie L. Vincent, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.

Elton was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1955 to 1958. Upon his return, he served as a Firefighter in the City of Philadelphia for ten years, and then spent the remainder of his career working in the field of Fire Protection Sales and Service.

Elton is survived by sons Joseph (late Karen) Vincent, Stephen (Elaine) Vincent, and Marie Elaine (Robert) Turnbull; grandsons Daniel (Christine) Vincent, Patrick (Hannah) Vincent, William Vincent, and Kevin Turnbull.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, 9:30 am to 10:30 am, Tuesday, February 24rd, 2026 at The Chapel at St. Joseph Parish, 338 Manor Avenue Downingtown, PA 19335, followed by his Funeral at 10:30 am. Interment will be private at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
