Elmer "Skip" Walls, Jr., 88, of Media, PA, passed away on April 17, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1929, he was the son of the late Elmer and Harriet (nee Shilladay) Walls.
Skip was a proud graduate of Villanova University and a Mason with Richmond Lodge No. 230 F. & A.M. for 36 years.
He served honorably in the US Navy on the USS Randolph, CV-15 and the USS Baltimore, CA-68.
Skip enjoyed photography, skiing, and sailing on the Sassafrass River, MD.
Skip was the beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Wagner) Walls; loving father of David B. Walls (Connie), Richard W. Walls, Gregory A. Walls, and Patricia J. White (Thomas F.); adoring grandfather of Lindsay Bodin (Ilyes), Kelly McLemore (Zack), Jessica Varisano (Lorenzo), Nicole Moyer (Jake), and Thomas J. White; also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10-11 AM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Middletown Presbyterian Church, 273 S. Old Middletown Road, Media, PA 19063, followed by his Funeral Service 11 AM.
Interment Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106, would be appreciated.
