Ellen "Missy" Van Engers

Ellen "Missy" Van Engers (nee Kane), age 71, of Broomall, PA, passed away on November 13, 2024.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1953, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Ellen (nee Joyce) Kane.

Ellen was the beloved wife of the late Erick Van Engers; loving mother of Melissa Lyons (Michael), Dana Rinker (Shawn), and Jason Van Engers (Angela); cherished grandmother of Michael S. Lyons, Sean J. Lyons, and Laney M. Lyons; predeceased by her siblings, John A. Kane, Jr., Patrick A. Kane, and Susan M. Kane.

Missy enjoyed spending time with her family, baking Christmas cookies with her grandchildren, and hitting the jackpot with her best friends at the casinos in Atlantic City.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
