Elizabeth Tagland

Elizabeth J. “Betty” Tagland (nee Gahn), 88, of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Exton, PA, passed away on June 20, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Gertrude (nee Lewis) Gahn.

Betty was the beloved wife of John K. Tagland, Sr.; loving mother of Bonnie L. Eichenlaub (David), John K. Tagland, Jr. (Debra), and Donna J. Collier (Greg Barndt); caring grandmother of Erik, Jennifer, Cody, Joshua, Jacob, and Zachary; dear sister of the late Naomi Lovern.

Betty worked in the Guidance Office and then the English Department at Downingtown High School and later for Burroughs/Unisys. She volunteered her time at Chester County Hospital and Tel Hai Retirement Community.

Services and interment are private.
