Elizabeth Corman Clark went home to our Lord and Savior on September 12, 2024.
Elizabeth “Liz” lived life to the fullest. She radiated vibrancy, love, and light wherever she went and shared an “attitude of gratitude” until her last breath.
Liz was born on May 8, 1938, and married the late Gerald E. Clark in 1960. Three children survive them: Jeffrey Clark (Cheryl), Jodi Byrne (Greg), and Douglas Clark (Denise). Liz adored her seven wonderful grandchildren: Ashley (Jonathan), James, Robert, Dylan, Lilly, Chloe, Tyler, and one great-grandchild, Zoe Elizabeth.
Liz was an avid athlete, winning golf tournaments well into her seventies. She loved exercising, gardening, a good novel, and cooking. If you attended one of Liz’s dinner parties, you were in for a special treat! Most of all, Liz was a faithful servant. She sought to honor God in all things. She hosted a neighborhood Bible study in her home for over fifteen years, sharing God’s love and friendship with her treasured neighbors and sisters in Christ. She taught Bible School to elementary children well into her eighties sharing bible lessons with music, games, joy, and many trays of home-baked cookies. Liz walked the walk, and through her actions, continuously encouraged others to excel and live life to the full. Liz will be missed but her influence will live on in the lives of all she encouraged, loved, and cherished. “Well done, good and faithful servant. Come and share in your master’s happiness.”
