Elinor S. Carroll

Elinor S. Carroll, 94, of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of Lionville, PA, passed away February 20, 2023.

Born January 25, 1929, in Lionville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Rose (Spangler) Smedley.

Throughout her career, Elinor worked as a secretary at the Boy Scout Office, AI duPont and Ballymore, where she retired in 1993. Post retirement, Elinor remained active in church, exercise class and volunteered at the East Ward School Library.

Elinor was a loving mother of Dennis J. Carroll (Tina) and Linda Lessard (Andy); adoring grandmother of Madelyn Berkley (Brendan), Diane Nicole Fay (Steven), Leann Shirk (Mitchell), Tim Carroll, Olivia Mattner (Tyler); Kaylene Turshmann (Taylor), Katie Flannery, Sean Flannery (Samantha), Christopher Lessard (Nina); 7 great grandchildren Vera, Inara, Myra, Aldan, Lucas, Wyatt and James.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, February 24, 2023 at Moving Communities To Christ Church, 4221 Main St, Elverson, PA 19520, followed by her Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM.
