Eleanor I. Tiernan (nee Martin), 94, of St. Martha Villa, Downingtown, PA and formerly of Collingdale, PA passed away on June 20, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late John J. Tiernan; loving mother of Patricia A. Tiernan of Lima, PA, Maureen Rizzo (John J.) of Newtown Square, PA, Sr. Eileen M. Tiernan, I.H.M. of West Chester, PA; loving grandmother of Andrew Rizzo, Michael Rizzo and Kathleen Rizzo. Predeceased by her siblings James Martin, Sr. Regina Bernadette Martin I.H.M., and Bernadette Martin.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camilla Hall, 1145 W. King Road, Malvern, PA 19355.
