Eleanor Schaaf

Eleanor L. Schaaf, 84, of Springfield, Pa passed away on December 6, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents James and Kathryn (nee Sheetz) Layden.

She was a graduate of Bartram High School and was employed as a Legal Secretary for Saul Ewing. Eleanor was a member of Women of the ELCA and was very active at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church. She enjoyed all of the church activities but most fond of the work done with the quilting group. Family was most important to her and she loved the time that she got to spend with them.

Eleanor is survived by her beloved husband Robert Schaaf, loving daughter Kathie Morgan (Jeff) and adoring grandchildren James, Shaun and Erin Morgan.

At the family’s request, funeral services are private.
