Elaine F. Beaumont

Elaine F. Beaumont (nee Sallustio) of Havertown, PA passed away on April 28. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Beaumont. Dear mother of Paul (Patty Mitschele), Joan Mellon (Thomas), former spouse Juan Sanchez, and of the late Claire Beaumont (Jeff Clark). Sister of Vincent Sallustio. Elaine was the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (nee De Santo).

She will be missed by her many grandchildren: Jeffrey, Dennis and Caroline Clark; Alexa, Madison and Taylor Beaumont; Elena and Constance Sanchez, and Justin, Jane, Juliet and Jacey Mellon.

She enjoyed traveling, trivia and all crafts including knitting, needlepoint and flower arranging. Elaine spent her time bowling and enjoyed singing, dancing, theater for which she wrote and performed shows and cheering on her Philly sports teams. She served her community volunteering as an election worker and was involved in countless church and community groups. She was a cookie chairman for the Girl Scouts, Service unit director and award-winning lifetime member including the Scouts highest honor: Thank You Badge. Elaine served at Sacred Heart Church for more than 50 years including roles in the choir, as president of Sacred Heart School PTA and president of Sacred Heart Social Club. She was active in the Legion of Mary, Shawl Ministry and HOPE.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 5 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Ave., Havertown, PA. Friends may call in Church from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to Sacred Heart Church at the address above.
